Responsibilities:
The Aerial Lineman is responsible for aerial phone and fiber cable installation. The Aerial Lineman position will include the safe operation of bucket trucks and climbing with gear. Typical duties include new builds, maintenance of existing lines, lashing, and pole transfers.
Requirements:
- Previous industry experience or lineman schooling preferred
- Ability to climb telephone poles, operate bucket trucks, and work at heights up to 40 feet.
- Willing to travel throughout the state, primarily Northeastern WI, Monday-Friday (home weekends, if not nightly).
- Insurance-acceptable license—Class A CDL is preferred and rewarded in higher compensation. Obtaining an unrestricted Class A CDL after the time of hire will be compensated with a $2.00/hour raise.
