Kett Engineering is looking for an After Sales Training Instructor to be a member of an Academy team for a prestigious German company. This individual is responsible primarily for delivering Parts and Service training developed for the manufacturer’s dealer network. The Academy team supports the Training Instructors by designing programs and solutions to aid in the development and delivery of appropriate training curriculum.

This individual will facilitate product knowledge and skills-based training to Service and Parts Consultants and Managers. This training should effectively impart learning and promote culture change in the manufacturer’s retail environment. The successful candidate will be a dynamic presenter and public speaker, as well as an engaging facilitator. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for the automotive industry and be well-versed in the industry language applied to products and internal processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present and facilitate training on Service and Parts process, systems, automotive technology, and customer service skills.
  • Home based position will require up to travel up to 80% of working days.
  • Communicate effectively:
  • Verbal Communication – in a group, one-on-one, in all types of telecommunication environments.
  • Written Communication – clear, concise, and professional style applied to training materials, presentations, and communications to the dealer network and corporate colleagues.
  • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in curriculum design and development with the Academy curriculum design team.
  • Partner with Area team members and Academy team members to assess training needs in the Dealer network and provide feedback on curriculum.
  • Take an active role in planning own training schedules.
  • Work with the After Sales Training Manager to ensure quality delivery and ensure that goals and standards are consistently met.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and automotive products by attending auto shows and reading trade publications.
  • Manage all manufacturer’s assets, vehicles, training supplies, credit accounts, etc. in a timely and professional manner.
  • Display prudent time management and an understanding of budget responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree and 3-5 years relevant training experience, or equivalent.
