YOUR ROLE

The compensation analyst participates in the development and implementation of total compensation policies and programs. The incumbent will particularly be responsible for ensuring that our total compensation package is competitive across all our markets. He/She will therefore play an active role in all activities related to the compensation of our associates.

Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the smooth running of compensation programs, such as the performance management process and salary reviews, as well as to the annual calculation of bonuses.
  • Prepare comparative analyses and make recommendations when there are promotions, transfers and expatriations.
  • Collaborate with the compensation team to conduct an analysis to recommend, implement and maintain salary ranges for all our markets (Canada, USA, Switzerland, China).
  • Participate in the development and implementation of a new job evaluation system.
  • Ensure the compliance of our pay equity program.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and other relevant studies.
  • Analyze market data to ensure the competitiveness of our offer.
  • Monitor legislative changes and measure their impact on our policies and procedures.
  • Follow all market trends.
  • Actively collaborate with the Payroll team, as will as with our HR business partners.

Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

  • Promote the optimization of compensation practices by automating them in the system, such as:
    • Salary structures
    • Performance evaluation et annual salary review
    • Calculation of bonuses
    • Other conditions, such as vacations, allocations, etc.
  • Maintain data integrity within the system (conduct continuous audits and make necessary changes).
  • Help with the maintenance and testing of new system features.

Group Insurance

  • In collaboration with the team of business partners, managers and employees, ensure the proper management of disabilities by overseeing the services offered to our employees while they are on leave, as well as by establishing the optimal conditions for their return to work.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or in a related quantitative field
  • Experience handling and analyzing data
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite required, with an excellent command of Excel
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Team player (work remotely, in person, in groups, etc.)
  • Experience in the retail industry, an asset
