A telecommunications client is looking for a Telecom Construction Manager who will work with Network engineering, Vendors, GCs, and our Operations team to ensure that the equipment required for cell site projects are available when it’s needed and complete.

Position: Telecom Construction Manager
Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2
Duration: 24 months or longer
Notes: Hybrid Model
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on both SNAP and C-Band sites.
- Responsible for various cell sites and ensuring all equipment is ordered and available upon request from Project manager and/or GC.
- Work with our supply chain team and ensure proper forecasting of equipment needs are communicated to ensure availability of materials.
- Need to be organized and be verify familiar with the architecture of each site to ensure site is properly constructed and all materials are available at the start of construction.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Organized and capable of tracking multiple projects and status.
- Experience managing vendors
- Experience engineering, provisioning and implementation of Samsung or Nokia cellular equipment, power plant systems and various antenna systems.
- Experience with tracking order status in various databases.
- Experience forecasting future cell needs including, but not limited to, base stations, routers, circuit packs, floor space & power.
- Experience determining the equipment needs for cell sites based on engineering plans and project outlines.
- Experience coordinating the ordering and integration process to provide complete equipment sets for projects.
- Experience managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
- Experience creating standards documents and ensure vendor compliance.
- Experience designing, procuring, and managing construction of new cell sites.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Capable of working with excel sheets and organizing data to help interpret project needs.
- Project management skills
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
