Front Desk Representative – Surgery Center


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets all patients as they arrive for outpatient surgical procedures.
  • Performs all aspects of Front Desk duties, including Patient Check-in, Collections of Co-pays/Co-insurances, Answering multi-phone lines and Preparation of the Patients medical chart for the next days surgical procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task in a quick paced environment.
  • Demonstrates skills in interpersonal relationships with visitors, physicians and co-workers while facilitating communication for all areas of the facility.
  • Compassionate disposition.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
  • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year experience in a medical office environment
  • Intermediate data entry skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be organized and able to multi task
