Position Overview:

Astound Broadband Powered by Wave is currently searching for a Network Provisioner in our network footprint of CA, OR, and WA. This position is responsible for generating all appropriate orders necessary to implement services and/or facilities required for Network additions, changes, disconnects and reconfigurations following the Astound Order Flow and Inventory Process. Creates CLRs and maintains an accurate inventory database.

The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Reviews and processes all assigned orders. Coordinates with IXCs, LECs, CLECs, other carriers, as well as Internal Departments to ensure accurate implementation of all network activity and customer related orders
• Effectively communicates and tracks the status and dates of all assigned orders in a timely manner to include providing FOC and DLR to all appropriate parties according to published intervals
• Maintain accurate equipment, facility, and circuit inventory database
• Escalate all internal and external orders in jeopardy status or that are critical in nature as deemed by management according to internal escalation processes and guidelines. This includes ownership of the issue while providing proactive and consistent updates until issue resolution and ensuring final order closure or completion.
• Effectively prioritizes workload with direction from management if needed while multitasking in a timely manner in order to ensure daily work is being addressed
• Maintains an accurate order and supplemental rate of this position’s work load
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong communication, technical and computer skills
• The ability to effectively and efficiently multitask
• Familiarization with standard Engineering codes used in the ASR Processing
• Knowledge of digital hierarchy as well as multiplexing and equipment cross connects
• Basic knowledge of telecom networking/design principles
