Automation Engineer

South London (near Gatwick) – 1 day per week

Up to £55k + benefits

We are currently working with a very established company undergoing a long term transformation programme to revolutionize their existing and future platforms.

They are looking for a Test Engineer with a proven track record in Automation and Java who enjoys working in a fast paced and exciting environment. It is a great place to learn new skills and technologies, particularly as part of their customer centric transformation project.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring automation frameworks across mobile and web applications and properly maintained
• Maintaining API automation tests
• Creating new automation tests (Java)

A successful applicant would require experience in:

• Java
• Good experience with Automation testing
• Cucumber (and/or) Selenium
• Experience with Rest APIs
• Excellent communication skills
• Mobile testing would be advantageous but not essential

This role can be based predominately remote with the requirement to go in to the office just 1 day per week (currently Tuesdays). Their office is based in South London, near Gatwick. Excellent transport links, located directly next to the station.
