Job Detail

The Banker Analyst role is integral to the success of each line of business it supports, helping to drive the strategic vision set forth by Texas Capital Bank.

This entry-level position is positioned within a variety of lines of business within the bank, including Middle Market and Corporate Banking, Credit Administration, Energy, Finance & Accounting, Real Estate, Private Wealth, and Treasury Services. The Analyst report to a Group Manager and will provide support for more senior colleagues in delivering best-in-class client experiences and comprehensive financial solutions to clients across a broad array of industries.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to process large amounts of information, communicating in a clear and concise manner, and develop innovative solutions for our clients, all while maintaining a strong and efficient attention to detail. Depending on alignment, key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Create financial statement spreads
  • Prepare client and prospect cash flow and/or enterprise valuation models with oversight from the Portfolio Manager
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Committee Memoranda
  • Support Portfolio Manager in credit approval process (new customers, modifications, increases, risk assessments)
  • Proactively provide articles, industry information, and other resources to bankers for distribution to relevant clients/prospects
  • Assist RMs in preparation for opportunity planning sessions (OPS)
  • Create pitchbooks and client advisory presentations
  • Work with marketing partners around client event execution
  • Client management in SalesForce, as well as client ownership of day-to-day needs, contact meetings, field exam coordination, and past-due management
  • Create and direct the preparation of pricing and return analysis
  • Initiate background checks/credit reports
  • Coordinate internal discussions
  • Exception tracking, clearing & reporting
  • Create financial sponsor profiles
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Schedule deal discussion meetings
  • Understand and present exposure aggregation
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Commercial Banking, or equivalent/relevant program
  • 2 years’ experience in Commercial Banking
  • Formal Credit training required
  • Interest in a long-term career in Banking
  • Passion for financial services and delivering superior client experiences
  • Extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative
  • Effective team players who want to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint in order to produce reports, memos, and presentations
  • Proven leadership skills and community involvement
