Our Project Management Team in Canada is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join Siemens Healthineers as a Bilingual Project Management Intern for a 1-year term with flexible work arrangements (both onsite and remote work).
Reporting to the Head of Project Management Operations the Bilingual Project Management Intern will be trained and involved in all Project Management aspects including project coordination and standardization of tools and process improvements, improving scheduling methodology and supporting day to day requirements to keep projects moving forward. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to obtain hands-on industry experience with a highly innovative and fast-paced organization and to kick-start their career with a global organization.
The Bilingual Project Management Intern will be responsible for:
MAJOR ELEMENTS:
- Provide a supporting role to the project management group
- Extrapolate data from system, analyze and prepare reports
- Support standardization of tools and process improvements
- Support areas requiring efficiencies, cost improvement initiatives
- Provide complementary support to project coordinator and project manager in key areas such as schedule updates, last call letters, inputs to Bridge, Non conformance forms, CO’s, Handover documents etc.
- Ensure PM technical documents adhere to regulatory standards
- Address and resolve internal/external inquiries
- Assist department staff including Planner, Project Coordinator and Project Manager
- Perform other duties as required
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update tools, processes, documents to ensure current for the department.
- Provide support to the team of coordinators, planners, and project managers
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Post-secondary education in engineering/technology, finance or equivalent
- Excellent Excel skills
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work remotely
- Knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD and familiarity with constructing drawings an asset
- Working knowledge of related computer applications (MS Office Professional, MS Project)
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in French and English is required
