As a Business Analyst you will be a gateway / gatekeeper for all change requests from the business to key applications such as Salesforce, our customer portal (1Portal), development of API’s and webservices. These will include large projects to smaller BAU change. You’ll ensure requirements are
  • Communicated with relevant stakeholders
  • Timescales are met, scope creep managed
  • Working with QA to test to ensure requirements are realised
  • Refining of requirements into documentation and stories
Key Tasks and Accountabilities
  • Collaborative communication with stakeholders and business users to deliver changes
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business users
  • Work closely with technical teams to design solutions and user stories.
  • Be comfortable in reading web service documentation and translate this into technical specifications for the development teams
  • Use established tools and techniques to identify and document current and future state business processes
  • Prepare IT & business requirements using functional specifications and user stories (JIRA)
  • Review business processes and make recommendations for streamlining
  • Work with internal and offshore development team
About You
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on IT systems to help make crucial changes and updates to systems
  • Experience supporting changes in the salesforce environment
  • Strong understanding of investigation techniques, stakeholder analysis and management, strategy analysis and requirement engineering
  • Knowledge of using a variety of modelling & analysis tools, methods and standards (e.g. Business process modelling, use cases, writing User stories, root cause analysis)
  • Experience in full project lifecycle (Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to include scope control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organisation
  • Experience of using software delivery tools such as Jira/Trello.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to understand concepts and break them down into pertinent elements
  • You’ll be commercially aware, understanding the key objectives of the business
Highly desirable
  • Experience in telecommunication business
