The Boeing Company is seeking a C-17 Base Level Engine Manager (Service Technical Analyst) under FA8526-12-D-0001-0005, Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Base Level Engine Management is responsible for managing C-17 propulsion system to include but not limited to records, documentation, maintenance scheduling activities, and aircraft Optical Quick Access Recorder (OQAR) data processing and review. This position will be based in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. All candidates must live in the McChord, WA. site area or be prepared to move at their own expense.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with engineering disciplines to influence improvements in product designs and operational criteria.

  • Reviews manufacturing non-conformity data for potential impact to in-service fleet.

  • Provides technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers.

  • Participates in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage.

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO) This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with developing repair level analysis and/or scheduling maintenance programs

  • 3+ years’ experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.

  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with C-17

  • An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

Typical Education/ Experience:

Bachelor’s and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary pay range: 77,350 – 104-650
