Job description
Westerly Hi-Tech Solutions is seeking to hire full time independent contractors to install cable television, telephone, and internet services for a major telecommunications company. The candidate is responsible for installing and troubleshooting equipment in customer homes as well as performing tasks from telephone poles. Technicians are required to consistently measure, record, and determine cable signal levels to provide the best service. We are looking for experienced cable technicians but will train the right candidate.
1099 Requirements:
The contractor is responsible for possessing and covering the following expenses:
-White work vehicle (option to lease)
-Workmen’s compensation insurance
-Job tools (option to buy/rent per weekly installments)
Qualifications:
Previous Cable/telephone/internet experience preferred – Excellent Customer service skills – Time management skills – Organizational skills – Team player – Working independently – Problem solving skills – Attention to detail
Other Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license – Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check – Must be able to climb and lift/move 28′ ladder – Must follow safety protocols – Work in confined spaces inside dwellings such as an attic or crawlspace – Operating handheld power tools – Hand tools
Schedule: 6 day work week
Compensation:
-Potentional earnings of up to $1500+ per week
Sign on bonus – paid after 3 months with the company

Pay: $678.00 – $1,864.00 per week
