Fusion Technology is hiring for a Cable Installer – Telecommunications position in Washington D.C.

Location: Washinton D.C. (some travel may be required)

Pay Rate:

Cable Installer – Entry – $17.00 – $20.00/HR

Cable Installer – Mid – $24.00 – $27.00/HR

Cable Installer – Senior – $29.00 – $32.00/HR

Job Description:

Cable Installer – Entry – Technical Certification – 6 Months Experience – Secret Clearance-
Installs telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables, including vertical and horizontal cable pairs to the desktop. Locates and diagnoses signal transmission defects using various test equipment and visual inspection. Uses tools and related test equipment, ground power equipment, and pressure equipment. Prepares necessary reports. Communicates effectively with technical and management personnel.

Cable Installer – Mid – Technical Certification – 3 Years’ Experience – Secret Clearance-
In addition to Entry level… oversees and installs telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables, including vertical and horizontal cable pairs to the desktop. Locates and diagnoses signal transmission defects using various test equipment and visual inspection. Uses tools and related test equipment, ground power equipment, and pressure equipment.

Cable Installer – Senior – Technical Certification – 5 Years’ Experience – Secret Clearance-
In addition to Entry and Mid-levels… oversees and installs telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables, including vertical and horizontal cable pairs to the desktop. Locates and diagnoses signal transmission defects using various test equipment and visual inspection. Uses tools and related test equipment, ground power equipment, and pressure equipment. Prepares necessary reports. Communicates directly with technical and management personnel.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
