Cell Tower Field Integration Wireless Technician

Bechtel Construction Services is currently seeking experienced cell tower field integration wireless technician for our Northern California Communications Market based in Stockton, CA

JOB KNOWLEDGE/REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

· Ericsson Certified (Preferred)

· E911 trained

· PSAP call testing (E-911 calls to verify proper installation & call routing)

· Understand and able to interpret an RFDS

· Telecom Installation Fundamentals / Basic Installation Techniques

· Three or more years’ experience with:

· Call testing (OEM) pre & post

· LTE carrier experience with Ericsson eNodeB/5G Experience Preferred

· Must have experience working installing and troubleshooting Ericsson LTE equipment (Nokia trained preferred)

· Experience in Installation, Commissioning, and Swapping DU’s with XMU/5216/6601

Familiarity with fiber testing/OTDR

· Manual loading of scripts to 6630 BBU

· Knowledge of static IP settings and configurations

· Ability to interpret and understand MOP’s (i.e. outages, safety guidelines, etc.)

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Able to utilize Excel for population of TVW information

· Right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship

· Pass background check including driver record and drug testing

· Valid US driver’s license and ability to qualify for Bechtel internal driving permit within 14 days of hire

· Must be able to work flexible work hours and be able to work independently

· Knowledge of cell site access and login with NFSD/NOC

· Prior experience engaging with Landlords in a professional manner

· Keen understanding of Self and Situational awareness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $42.00 per hour
