Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turfing vendor, Tower Co., etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner
  • Required to work at heights installing telecom equipment/materials on towers, monopoles, etc. including mounts, radios and antennas
  • Candidate must be experienced in all aspects of line and antenna system installation, replacement and maintenance
  • A willingness to travel when and where required
  • Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Structured wiring on all coaxial and wired cables as needed at job sites
  • Upgrades / Installation of 4G to 5G equipment at all small cell sites
  • Maintain a focus on safety at all times
  • Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performs tower maintenance under close supervision
  • Maintain high job standards and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform routine and special circumstance tower maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and fix on connectors and Antenna system

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience installing, maintaining and removing: Cabling, Antennas, tower builds (NEW/MODS), site inspections, FAA lighting systems, cell carriers (Sprint, T-MOB, Verizon, USCC, Etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
  • Knowledge of practices in the wireless industry
  • Minimum of two years of tower and telecommunications experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience climbing a cell tower
  • Upgrade 4G to 5G installation and deployment
  • Must be able to safely climb while carrying tools and equipment of up to 40 pounds and work on a cell site tower using safety gear
  • Must be able to perform work at various heights, up to 250 feet, for long periods

Working Environment:

The employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold and wet or humid. The employee may work in high places, and/or work around moving mechanical parts, vehicles and other equipment. The employee may also work in areas where the noise volume is loud and constant. The employee must have the ability to travel to remote job sites.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification
  • OSHA 10
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid Driver’s license (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $40.00 per hour
