Trillium Construction is now hiring Cell Tower Technicians for long-term work!
A Tower Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment on cell towers. They are the heart of the wireless infrastructure and play an essential role in ensuring that the network functions properly. Pay rate is $35 per hour, DOE.
Job Duties
- Climbing communications towers to repair antennas and auxiliary equipment
- Inspecting towers for safety and stability
- Bolting equipment into place
- Lifting parts into place, often using a crane, gin pole or other equipment
- Installing components like antennas, transmission lines, surge arrestors and connectors
- Testing communications equipment
- Building radio frequency shields and shelters
- Laying fiber optic and coaxial cables

- 2 plus years of experience in the field
- Must have all tools for scope of work
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Must have OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid
- The ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Aptitude for technology and mathematics
- Customer service skills
- Dexterity for handling small tools and devices
- Mechanical skills
