Communications Technician

This position performs telecommunications, networking, Audio/Video, and cellular systems support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility planning functions for in-house County telecommunications assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include: provide a high degree of responsive service to County facilities and personnel; assist in in-house systems maintenance; perform preventative maintenance on County telecommunications assets to maintain working systems consistent with available technology and user requirements; Install, upgrade, and maintain Audio/Video systems; Maintain County cellular devices; provide end user training and support for all telecommunication solutions and devices; must be capable of reading and comprehending facility drawing specifications for utilities to include available electrical circuitry and telecommunications routes for telephones and data transfer networks; organize and implement cellular voice and data devices. Understand cellular frequency and carrier bands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $37.00 per hour

Experience:
