Description:
This role will be fun, challenging and rewarding. You will be required to adapt to changing work paces as no two weeks are the same! One job might call for a service call at a remote fly-in/fly-out camp, and another may involve some local in-town work. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including installation of TV, internet and security systems, inspecting and testing equipment and diagnosing the cause of faults, ensuring clients get the right products for their needs and performing maintenance on all major communication service providers’ systems.
Previous experience in this type of role is considered a benefit, but not essential as full training will be given.

Full time – must be available to work 40+ hours per week, in and out of town (transport provided).

Requirements:
This role is physical and often fast paced, working indoors and outdoors so the need to be fit is a must. You will need to be able to carry, lift and climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, work at heights, lift heavy objects etc.
You will need your own reliable vehicle to get to the office each workday (in Fort Saskatchewan) and be able to provide a drivers abstract and criminal record check.
A reliable cell phone with data plan is required, and fluency in English.
You must have the confidence and ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision after training, and work within scheduled timelines and deadlines.
Due to the nature of some job roles, you will be required to pass last minute drug and alcohol tests.
Own Apparel Required:
➔ Winter clothing (some work locations are remote with severe weather)
➔ Steel toed boots
Any safety/training tickets already acquired relevant to this role would be an asset (WHMIS, Heights/OHSA etc.)
In return for your commitment and flexibility, we offer great rates of pay, holiday pay, overtime, incentives and bonuses and career progression. Full training will be provided, job shadowing, annual reviews and pay increases. All tools will be provided.
Starting salary for candidates with no previous experience will be $20per hour. Otherwise, salary level to be determined on experience. 3-6 month probation period depending on progress.
