Job Description

Seeking EXPERIENCED (Preferred minimum 1 Year BUT will train the right candidate with other demonstrated capability) to mid-tier/journeyman communications tower site technician for an exciting, flexible/full-time opportunity with an established and growing communications services integrator.
The ideal candidate should have BASIC EXPERIENCE and ABILITY in using hand tools, mechanical concepts, etc. An APTITUDE for mechanical/repair skills is REQUIRED. This position involves primarily working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work at times at height on various communications structures including Towers, Monopoles, Buildings, Water Tanks, etc, up to and including structures of 500 plus feet in height. This position involves a varied work schedule and various tasks from Civil types of work through traditional L&A and everything in between. Willingness to perform ALL work is required.
This is a position that REQUIRES the applicant to work safely while working with a team of professionals. Applicants with a solid basis or background in electronics, electricity, mobile electronics and wireless communications are encouraged to apply. Tree service/line service personnel are also encouraged to apply. Formal safety training and certification will be provided to successful applicants.
Good troubleshooting abilities and a can-do attitude with the desire to learn are essential. Ability to work varied responsibilities day to day are necessary. The desire to take on challenges and solve problems is essential. We provide all safety equipment and training to employees. At times you will be assigned other duties to include basic mechanical tasks not involving tower structures.
The ability and willingness to work a varied schedule and possible overtime hours is desired. Some work is on the road for up to a one-week period at a time within a 3 to 4 hour drive. All lodging and travel expenses are company paid, company credit card provided for such travel.
No staying in seedy hotel rooms with others while working. All employees traveling with overnight stays get their own hotel room when possible. No drug or substance abuse is tolerated here. You must be able to work with others in a respectful, professional environment. Reliability is a must!

Responsibilities and Duties
In this position, you will be interfacing with peer employees, customers, and outside personnel therefore good communications skills are essential. The ability to work outside during inclement weather, sit, stand, lift and carry up to 70 lbs, etc. are essential for the performance of the job duties. Will be required to operate company vehicles including vans, pickup trucks, and other specialized vehicles such as lift equipment. The ability to work varied schedules outside of normal working hours is expected.
Candidates meeting the above requirements are encouraged to apply as well as those more advanced in their education and experience. High School Diploma/GED preferred and some technical training is a definite plus. Valid Drivers License required with a good driving history. Must be qualified to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate (company paid for). Must submit to pre-employment background investigation/criminal history check and mandatory company Drug Testing. We will work with employees to provide specialized training to the right qualified person.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Bi-Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit. Salary increases after review and improvement. Due to the type of work that is offered, the position will begin as Part-time+ to with excellent potential to move into a full-time opportunity. Overtime available. Those persons who possess electrical/electronics experience will not have a problem maintaining full-time hours in this position.

Salary: Hourly Employment (41,000 to 85,000 per year range) dependent upon experience. Quarterly reviews and merit increases provided.
