Construction Coordinator (Telecom & Wireless)

Contract: W2 only.

Job Responsibilities:

• Update construction tracker/data entry. 30%
• Maintain data integrity in associated internal and external deployment tools. 20%
• Take daily direction from CM, Senior CM and CPM for clerical and admin tasks. 20%
• Support CM and Senior CM in reviewing closeout and acceptance packages. 10%
• Coordinate site inspection/walks. 10%
• CU specific task/duties as assigned. 10%
• Good knowledge of: Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Working directly in databases (i.e., Access, Siterra, Site Handler, Continuus, CASPR, InSite, etc.)
• Data management tools – PIwin, GASK, eAMS, SiteHandler / Erisite.
• Close-out Package Checklist

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in the applicable industry.
• Basic technology or related trade course work completion.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast tempo and fluid work environment.
• Basic understanding of OHS statutory requirements impacting Ericsson in the local market.
• Basic ability to communicate and work with multiple personalities and professional skill levels effectively.
• General field experience in managing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc., is a plus.
• Previous experience working on Ericsson equipment portfolio is a plus.

Scope of Work:

• The Construction Coordinator has a supporting role (under the Construction Manager and Senior Construction Manager) regarding technical aspects of Telecom Equipment deployment, which includes project plan of record, project schedule, cost, inventory, and scope creep identification (under supervision of senior personnel) to the Ericsson Customer Project Manager (CPM).
• Main duties include various administrative functions, coordination of construction scheduling and communication, data entry in various tools and databases and close-out packages production.
• Responsibility for estimates, schedules, materials, and purchase orders may also be required.
• This role is used for Wireline, Wireless and Transmission network deployment.
• It can be adapted and used for managing all network roll-out services, e.g., Network Design, Site Acquisition, Civil Works, Installation, Integration services etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $3,500.00 – $4,000.00 per month
