GoNetspeed is looking for a Construction Manager OSP Facilities to join our team.
We are looking for a reliable Construction Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage all construction processes related to the construction of the point of presence equipment locations turn ups
- Supply of new electric service
- Supply new natural gas / propane gas service for new generator
- Obtain bids, permits and local R.O.W. easements if required
- Schedule contractors for electrical, cable placement, excavation etc.
- Schedule access with building owners and contractors
- Quality Control on closure of project
- Ensure that all jobs are maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy
- Computer / cad, excel experience required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to direct and diagnose work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
- Customer service orientation with a strong problem solving approach – strong interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills – MS office and project management software knowledge
Skills
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
Education
- 5+ years of telecommunications project/order management experience
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

Pay: $58,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
