Job Purpose: CONSTRUCTION/PROJECT MANAGEMENT – Telecommunications Department
Planning, implementation, and tracking projects for a Telecom construction company.
Duties:
The Telecommunication Construction/Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
- Assist in defining the scope of the project in collaboration with project manager and estimator
- Telecom/Construction/Electrical background is preferred
- Read and implement project drawings and specifications
- Determine the resources (time, money, materials, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
- Ensure the construction process starts and ends on time, and daily and weekly deadlines are met.
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Review projects to ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
- Complete material take offs for telecom construction, order materials
- Meet with landlords, engineers, architects, and subcontractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress
- Manage and motivate site foremen and crews
- Create and manage the construction schedule for each site. The schedule will consider permitting, materials availability, contractor availability, utility provisioning as required, network deployment timing, cost efficiency, property owner availability, and any other variables.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Must be willing to work extra hours and weekends when needed
- Must be comfortable working in a construction office environment
- Must be detail oriented and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Experience with civil construction is preferred
Qualifications:
- Computer and E-mail proficient
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Anaheim, CA 92807: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Construction/Project management: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
