Project Manager will ensure that a contract for products/services is delivered to the satisfaction of the customer and company. Manager will coordinate with company and customer to develop project plans, determine resource requirements, and schedule all assets of the project from inception to completion. Project Manager will manage and track expenditures and communicate status and requirements to company and customer. Manage and monitor status of all labor and components and verify that work is completed to customer’s satisfaction. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Review and evaluate all SOW, MOP, Project Plans, schedules, drawings required for assigned jobs. Prepare and compile action plans, resolve problems and implement change. Track and report all materials and inventory to customer and company. Project Manager will work closely with operations and at times act as a supervisor in the field and or as trainer for employee development. Project Manager will also act as a lead for business opportunities and explore gather data and provide feedback to company management. This position reports to the Director level and works in collaboration with other managers and supervisors.
- 3 plus years of Project Manager experience with Utility Construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
- Must be very conscientious, accurate, detail oriented, professional, and self-motivated.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to effectively communicate with all team members, suppliers and customers.
- Must be able deliver daily reports timely for company and keep up with cost to ensure profitability.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and quickly analyze and interpret data.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
- Must have previous experience in the OSP telecom or utility environment.
- Ability to produce/use, project-related documents and documentation standards required of a Project Manager (SOW, MOP, Project Plans, schedules, drawings)
- Ability to work in the field at times to ensure the project’s success.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Able to occasionally travel and stay overnight if project requires.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Must have valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
- Must submit to background check and drug testing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
