Construction Project Manager (Coax & fiber design maps, Smartsheet)

CEI’s Client, a Fortune-50 telecom, media and technology company, is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator. Seeking candidates who have strong project management skills, understand both fiber and coax architecture design maps, and have used Smartsheet. Any experience with Salesforce and MS Excel are nice-to-haves.

This role will help on a number of OSP construction projects. This individual will:

• Build and assign relocation projects and pole transfer jobs in Salesforce.
• Maintain multiple Smartsheet trackers.
• Address Comcast facilities conflict emails within a timely manner

Job at a Glance:

• This is a long-term contract role with a top client of CEI with 2024 extension planned and potential for conversion to FTE
• Hourly, W2 pay of $30-35/hr + benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K)
• This hybrid position that will be largely remote but candidates must sit in the Nashville area as the team holds onsite meetings from time to time

Job Description:

• The construction coordinator is responsive for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects as well as administrative quality control of jobs
• Work alongside other coordinators on the daily list (estimate list) driving down the aged jobs to bring things to completion/scheduling and communicating deadlines with the team.
• Tracking, updating, and validating invoicing
• Communicate time-sensitive updates with internal teams and sometimes with external biz partners.
• Manage & Track Milestones
• Create jobs in Salesforce
• Issue Jobs to design
• Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones
• Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs
• Reconcile jobs (office)
• Set final invoice milestones
• Ensure all milestones are updated
• Close jobs

Required Skills:

• Good computer skills are required!
• Must be confident using MS Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables.
• Must be extremely organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be familiar with Smartsheets
• Must have experience with coaxial and fiber architecture design maps
• Good communication skills (written/verbal) necessary for internal and external vendor relationship management
• Someone who can handle a faster-pace/eager to learn
• Experience using Salesforce to manage project workflow is desired
• Experience with IT/cable construction projects (fiber upgrades, cell towers, 5G…) is nice to have
• Enterprise level end-to-end job creation is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
