Construction Superintendent – Telecom

A. Pre-Con Walks

– Walk sites with Customer as needed

– Take photos and notes of scope of work during precon walk.

– Report pre-con information to CM and PM and bring up any issues within 24 hours of pre-con walk

– Any issues that are discussed and not resolve should be sent out to CM and PM after to delegate a solution prior to pricing submittal.

– Assist in requesting quotes for “big ticket/long lead items” items including, but no limited to… Manlift, Cranes, Steel, scaffolding, etc…

B. During Construction

– Walk project with crew on first or second day to preplan and advise crew on preconstruction walk discussion.

– Maintain sites visits to once a week at minimum

– Review onsite JSA/JHAs

– Work with Safety Manager, Project Manager and Construction Manager if any specific MOPs are required

– Report and advise if crews are being compliant with all safety aspects of the project.

– Brief update every other day on crew/project they’re managing

– Assist and provide support as needed during Maintenance window outages

– Walk and make sure that projects are ready for integration / On-Air – crews to have all needed materials to complete task.

– Assist Crew with any integration issues and/or troubleshooting issues.

– Plan accordingly and discuss with CM and PM availability of night time assistance to crew.

– Visit site prior to Punchwalk / Quality walk to assure quality end of project

C. Post Construction

– Assist Quality Manager in obtaining photos from crew onsite and assure all photos are accounted for

– Review any issues with Quality Manager, i.e. pending photos, pending alarms, pending close out documentation

– Minimal task that needs to be completed (Alarms, photos, permits)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $43.00 per hour
