Who You’ll Work With

You will be part of our Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice and working in one of our offices in Germany or Austria.
This practice strives to help clients in both business-to-business and consumer environments on a wide variety of sales and marketing topics, and its mission is to help clients achieve profitable growth. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing and sales such as omnichannel sales, customer lifecycle management, insights & analytics, organization & capabilities, digital marketing and pricing.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with colleagues from around the world within and outside of the Growth, Marketing & Sales practice to help leading organizations solve their most complex problems. From day one you will be exposed to senior McKinsey leaders and executive level clients.

What You’ll Do

You will work across B2B and B2B2C industries and deliver real impact by helping clients transform their omnichannel sales strategy and go-to-market operations to power profitable sales growth.
As a part of the Growth, Marketing & Sales practice, you’ll focus on developing and implementing sales strategies for leading companies of all major industries, including automotive, industrial manufacturing, chemicals & agriculture, and telecommunications.
You will support and help to build best-in-class sales organizations and operations, leveraging your experience across sales channels (e.g., KAM, frontline, insides, or digital sales). During your client facing work, you will either be supporting the project team with a part of your time, bringing in your specific omnichannel sales experience, or you will be full-time on the ground. You will work hand-in-hand with clients from all major B2B and B2B2C industries.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B or B2B2C sales and across different sales channels, as well as some experience in consulting-like projects
  • Understanding of the orchestration of omnichannel go-to-market strategies and operations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels in an organization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language(s)
