The Dell 5G Radio Systems Design team has the expertise to ensure Dell wins the edge in the ORAN space. We are developing Dell’s 5G radio portfolio and generating intellectual property while upholding the ORAN goals of interoperability. The telecommunications industry is undergoing a seismic shift as the 5G network revolution continues. Dell is leveraging their unique position to create new, innovative solutions as the worlds of cloud, virtualization and open standards collide with cellular wireless technology. What You’ll Achieve

Working with a highly skilled team, you will contribute to the system design of Dell’s 5G radio. You will develop functional and non-functional requirements for product development derived from industry specifications, strategy requirements and advanced feature development initiatives. In our team you will continue to deepen your expertise in 5G radio systems and provide technical leadership within your domain.

You will:
Be a go-to subject matter expert on future-forward development

Expand depth and breadth in our Radio technical domains

Drive technical communication in interfaces to project and customer partners

Interact with internal stakeholders and external partners to enable advanced features

Contribute to pre-engineering prototyping and proofs of concept demonstrations

Drive forward-looking studies on 5G Radio standards and advanced features

Essential Requirements

Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical discipline

15+ years of wireless radio development, verification, support and/or operations with demonstrated technical influence and impact through service to a development team as a subject matter expert in a 4G or 5G radio-related domain

Demonstrated future-forward continuous learning and thought leadership through contributions to Intellectual Property in Radio development

Strong communication skills in presenting opportunities for technical advancement to stakeholders and contributors

Desirable Requirements

Leadership roles in customer/ecosystem partner engagements

People leadership through mentoring and cultivating future technical leaders

Past roles at the interface between engineering and the project leadership
