What will your typical day look like?

As a member of the Global Tax & Legal Clients & Industries team, you will help to advance the Consumer / Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) agenda. Directly supporting the GT&L Consumer / TMT Leader in delivering their key priorities to communicate trends and insights, build industry communities, and track the effectiveness of the industry agenda through reporting and data analysis.
Responsibilities (the level of intensity of these activities may vary due to factors including the level of the candidate):
- Assist with the development of an annual plan for the Consumer / TMT Leader, incorporating the goals and priorities of GT&L as well as Global Industry across Deloitte businesses.
- Support the Consumer / TMT Leader in developing the tax and legal opportunities from key business issues.
- Assist the Consumer / TMT Leader with account targeting around Bold Plays, signature issues and other firm priorities.
- Coordinate internal marketing campaigns, development of collateral, industry POVs, thought leadership and community events across geographies, member firms and service lines
- Prepare presentations and other collateral material for the Consumer / TMT Leader to use in promoting and advancing the program and priorities.
- Develop, maintain, and help lead the Consumer / TMT networks of industry partners and professionals.
- Support the succession and onboarding process for industry leadership roles within GT&L.
- Promote collaboration across the industries, in other global businesses and within GT&L service lines.
- Support the Consumer / TMT Leader’s contribution at all Global cross-business and GT&L Industry and Sector leadership and community calls.
- Build and maintain your own network: Liaise with GT&L and cross-business colleagues and teams to advance Consumer / TMT priorities
- Track plans and progress of priority account portfolios and maintain a close relationship with GLTPs (Global Lead Tax Partners)
- Support regular reporting dashboards and respond to requests for information from GT&L and cross-business Global Industries.

The Global Tax & Legal Clients & Industries (GT&L C&I) team reaches across borders to develop inclusive programs that unite our worldwide network. Working alongside C&I Leaders, Global Lead Tax Partners (GLTPs) and Global Lead Legal Partners (GLLPs), we implement growth and development strategies that transform key opportunities into marketplace wins.
Our Industry Program drives growth by combining industry and sector insights with the tax and legal implications of business issues.

You are someone with:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles requiring interactions at all levels of a complex organization, managing communications and reporting
- Able to take initiative and proactively make recommendations
- Effective networking skills
- Client-service mindset with ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and cultures
- Strong project management skills as a self-starter, comfortable with conflicting priorities and confidence to manage up
- Strong writing skills, with demonstrated experience writing compelling content for business communications, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Confident in interpersonal and group communications with senior leaders
- Able to navigate a complex global firm to find answers and solutions
- Knowledge of GT&L business and services is desirable as is experience in or with the Consumer / Technology, Media and Telecommunications industries
