We are currently recruiting experienced CONTROL 4 HOME AUTOMATION TECHNICIANS.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Control4 Home Automation Technician would be responsible for:

  • Wiring, installation and configuration of Central VAC, Structured Cabling, Audio Visual Automation Systems & Home Theatre/Surround Sound Systems, Networking, Lighting & Security Systems.
  • Experience with Control4 home automation systems is a key asset.
  • Troubleshooting and service of existing systems.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understand of complicated networking systems (i.e.: hardwired and wireless locations).
  • Interpret electrical drawings, technical bulletins and building plans for proper installation.
  • Work within a team environment that can consist of personnel from multiple trades.

Qualifications:

· Completion of Secondary Education. Some College &/or Technical Trade training in electronics or telecom is considered an asset.

· Must have installation experience in Control4, networking systems, home automation, & central VAC.

· Must be able to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

· Proficient in computer skills; including MS operating system and office software package.

· Must have strong interpersonal, communicational, and organizational skills.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

· Owning a vehicle is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
