Responsibilities:
Inside Sales – actively sell Alpine offerings to existing and new customers.
- Attain monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Detailed documentation within the Salesforce CRM managing the opportunity to order stage.
- Track all customer interactions in the CRM to ensure conversations and tasks are completed.
- Manage the day-to-day needs of the accounts represented by your territory.
- Proactively cold contact new companies to gain entrance to generate a quoting opportunity.
- Customer FOLLOW-UP: Post purchases satisfaction checks and upsell, create alternate opportunities.
- Service check calls – contact past customers on offerings to determine their service cycles and needs.
Support – Support the Sales Manager as required. To include but not limited to:
- Process and distribute quotes by request of the salesperson.
- General day-to-day administrative support of assigned salespeople.
- Take incoming customer calls for team support.
- Monitor incoming email requests to create sales leads in the CRM
- Verify vendor pricing through vendor order acknowledgments as applicable.
- Track all open items as needed.
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree (preferred).
- ERP and CRM experience (SAP, SAGE, Salesforce).
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (V-Lookup, pivot tables, and Word development).
- Professional phone skills and overall communication are required.
- Experience with team selling and support through account management.
- Work experience with similar companies (preferred).
