The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage, execute, and close projects for one of Nokia’s largest strategic customers.

As the project manager interfacing with our customer, you will be responsible for coordinating processes and resources to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and meet/exceed our customer’s expectations.

What you will learn and contribute to

Your specific responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, coordinating resources, leading cross functional project team meetings, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

You should be excellent at communicating at all levels within both the Nokia and the customer’s organization, be comfortable with proactively managing multiple tasks/risks simultaneously, be a team player and problem solver. You must be able to adapt to changing demands/requirements and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources for flawless execution of projects
  • Report project progress to all levels of management and stakeholders
  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform proper close-out of each project, ensuring invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Perform a Lessons Learned activity at the close of each project for documentation and sharing with the PM community

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a project manager in the telecommunications industry
  • Extensive experience with customer facing and internal/team communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with experience

It would be nice if you also had:

  • PMP Certification
  • SAP Experience
