We are currently looking for a Communications Operator for REM.

Here’s what this position, located in Longueuil, entails:

Permanent position

Schedule: full time, 10 hour shifts, rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday

Salary: competitive

Responsibilities

Here are the responsibilities you will have as a communication operator

  • Participate in the training on the equipment and the operation of the network, development of expertise
  • Be in charge of customer support on the entire network, assisting customers
  • Carry out communications on the different platforms, automated displays (information on service, as well as delays or probable disruptions on the line)
  • Assist passengers, intervene in situations requiring emergency services
  • Access control, alarms

Qualifications

You have what it takes for the position of communication operator:

  • Be perfectly bilingual in En & Fr
  • Experience in call center, dispatch, customer care or intervention
  • Good communication, strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable with technology or telecommunication/computer tools
  • Organizational skills: to be able to handle the volume of calls
  • Good control and self-confidence to intervene effectively in emergency situations
  • Available for 24 hour shifts
