Location: Frankfurt/Munich (hybrid)

The Opportunity

Our IOT & Engineering Team specializes in delivering the most complex projects which require cross-functional technical skillsets in challenging and dynamic project environments. CP’s area of focus is Product Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things and Consumer Internet of Things. The team has presence across industries, with extensive traction in Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom Energy and Utilities, Retail, Automotive and Consumer Goods. Clients count on our Manufacturing and IOT expertise to help them architect the bridge between the physical world of sensors, machines, industrial processes, places, people and the digital world of software, IoT platforms and data. For our Automotive customers (OEM and Tier1) in Europe, we require qualified Automotive engineers to be a part of the engineering teams.

Drive delivery by scoping, structuring, and leading engineering engagements

• Act as a one point of contact for all customer meetings and technical presentations
• Participate and Lead RFQ responses
• Support in the hiring process of Automotive consultants
• Own Technical solutions and delivery for all Automotive engineering projects in Germany
• Envision and create new opportunities within existing and new businesses
• Handle risks and issues related to the Account, including delivery oversight
• Work in a matrix organization, responsible for all technical management of projects that are underway
• Experience in demand fulfillment, collaborating with HR / Ops, Offshore and Nearshore Teams

Must-haves

Required & nice-to-have Skills

• At least 8+ years of experience in Automotive engineering domain
• Strong Knowledge of Automotive domain, Body, Powertrain, Infotainment Systems, HMI etc
• Knowledge of Automotive OEM/ Tier 1 process
• Experience in handling global delivery teams in automotive engineering. Teams would be spread across Germany, India and Nearshore
• Lead the efforts for ramping up the project teams in Germany and Nearshore
• Participate in and drive RFP process with customer prospects together with colleagues from business development, account management and solution architecture
• Management of multiple customer projects in close collaboration with onsite and nearshore resources taking care of quality, timeline and budget with hands-on delivery engagement
• Day to Day collaboration with the customer and managing expectations
• Capacity Planning and Staffing
• German and English Language is a must

Nice-to-have / Your Chance To Grow

• Good knowledge about Microcontroller/ECU architecture
• Experience in ECU firmware development, POSIX/ QNX/OSEK real time operating systems
• Knowledge of verification and validation at all levels of vehicle line, understanding/ exposure to HIL system
• Good knowledge in Functional Safety ISO26262
• Good knowledge of Connected Car , Connected Services, ADAS etc
• AUTOSAR based software development and using AUTOSAR tool chains like Vector DaVinci Configurator and Developer
• Knowledge of ASPICE and functional safety standards
