Job description
There’s never been a better time to join Great British Communications; we are a tenacious, fast-paced business with a huge contract pipeline and ambitious growth plans. Part of the United Living Group, our turnover will double in the next 5 years to top £1 billion; we are currently recruiting for Design Support, to work on deployment of an FTTP / FTTH network with support from the Design Lead.

The successful candidate will work within the Fixed Line project team, assisting in the production of 3rd party High Level Designs (HLD) and Detailed Design (DD) documentation, adopting a customer-focused approach to the client and their representatives.

The ideal candidate will possess the below skills:

• 1-3 years’ experience working on FTTP / FTTH Networks
• Experience of PDH / SDH Networks
• Experience of Access / Core Networks (Ring / Branch topology)
• Good working knowledge of BTOR Network
• PIA accreditation
• Adept at manipulating client tools/reports on a regular basis
• Proficient in GCOMM’s, AutoCAD
• Good level of IT skills including Excel, and other Microsoft packages
• Good working knowledge of NRSWA 1991
