Position Overview:

We are looking for a device test engineer (telecom/wireless) for one of our esteemed clients to play a pivotal role in launching new wireless products and services in the market. The role is ideal for someone who has a background in Telecommunications, is eager to learn with a high level of curiosity and grow in the industry with one of leading edge organizations in the industry. Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and execute effective testing plans with field and internal representatives for Usability Testing, Network Field Testing and Application Testing.

Evaluate wireless devices through lab testing, logging and network log analysis manually and through post processing tools.

Capture and define device issues, highlighting step by step the process for reproduction, and defining the impact of the issue to the end user.

Provide daily and weekly compilation of various written and verbal reports on the results of testing.

Communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification/Experience

(Must Have) Degree or a diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, with a Telecommunications background.

(Must Have) A high degree of curiosity and drive to learn and grow in the Telecommunications sector.

(Must Have) Ability to multitask multiple projects & priorities simultaneously.

(Must Have) Organized and detail oriented

(Must Have) Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, (orally and written).

(Highly Desired) A reasonable understanding of LTE, Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) and Voice-over-WiFi (VoWiFi), including associate call flows and experience testing mobile devices in the field or in a lab environment.

(Nice to Have) High level understanding 5G architecture and call flow would be nice to have.

(Nice to Have) Experience with Diagnostic Monitor tools such as the Qualcomm’s QXDM Professional, Qualcomm’s QCat5, and Qualcomm PST.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Salary: $47,685.33-$119,312.76 per year
