This is a hands on Marketing Director to manage marketing operations, integrated campaigns, strategic events and tradeshow effectiveness, reporting to the VP of Industry Segment Marketing.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Build a marketing operations plan to include the execution and planning of marketing campaigns, strategic events, trade shows and field marketing programs to measure effectiveness and ROI.
  • Assist in the development of an integrated marketing plan to support verticalized approaches to 3 primary market segments (WW Carriers/Operators, Vertical Enterprises, Federal Markets) inclusive of product launches, campaigns, strategic events, trade shows and field marketing support.
  • Management and onboarding of creative agencies and vendors, while managing annual budget, operating plan and execution of projects.
  • Project manage JMA teams and internal workstreams required to execute strategic events (Mobile World Congress – Las Vegas and Barcelona) and coordinate internal resources and external production agencies to execute.
  • Implement a tradeshow in a box program for sales to be self- sufficient to execute smaller trade shows within North America.
  • Work closely with product management to plan product launches and integrate them into an annual outbound marketing plan inclusive of strategic events and PR goals for such product announcements.
  • Work closely with product marketing to develop content and refine the message for vertical focus, new product introductions and launches to be included in events, campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing efforts through a combination of new contacts created at events, contacts converted to leads and pipeline developed in support of sales goals.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Business or Technology degree preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience in marketing operations, integrated campaign management and event execution.
  • Experience in marketing HW/SW solutions from a B2B perspective.
  • Experience managing and producing large scale strategic events (Mobile World Congress (MWC), Computer Electronics Show (CES) or similar.
  • Familiarity with the Telecommunications industry, Higher Education, Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment and Federal Markets.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to set goals and deliver support for strategic account plans.
  • 30% travel required domestic and international.
