Our Operations Transformation practice has been identified as a critical ‘Go To Market’ proposition for future growth, including for our client base across Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT). We are looking for experienced Director level candidates who have a strong consulting skillset, with a

track record in transforming operations within the Technology, Media and Telecoms sectors.

We have established a vision for our Operations Transformation practice to be a market leader – winning and executing iconic projects. Our focus will be on delivering cost transformation and process excellence; productivity and capacity creation in people, process & technology; intelligent operations (automation, workflow orchestration and advanced analytics), as well as accelerated

digital process transformation.

We Are Looking For Directors With

• A primary background in consulting or advisory roles, with a track record in TMT operations transformation
• An established client network and market recognition for work undertaken
• Deep industry insights into Technology, Media or Telecoms.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex client programmes in operations, delivering tangible client benefits
• Leadership in developing propositions / shaping solutions based on clear understanding of client needs
• Ability to lead self and others and develop a community of solvers in operations transformation

Key Responsibilities

• Senior oversight and delivery of multiple client engagements from initiation to end deliverables and beyond. This includes initial scoping and planning, establishing and managing skilled teams and delivery of client benefits through outputs and deliverables
• Support the Operations Transformation leadership team in the sale of projects to our clients with a particular focus on the TMT sectors
• Go-to-market planning, account target plans and deal origination for priority clients and accounts
• Senior client stakeholder management and commercial management of complex transformation consulting engagements
• Lead on project proposals, developing new business opportunities and selling work
• Contribute to the overall development and growth of our practice through: supporting recruitment and training, coaching team members and enhancing our delivery assets and methodologies
• Engage with the broader PwC Consulting and TMT communities to develop firm presence, including the publication of thought leadership pieces

Skills & Experience

• The ability to think strategically about business and industry trends in Operations and use analytical, problem-solving techniques to break down complex issues
• A track record in business development and sales
• Extensive consulting experience in delivering operational transformation engagements for clients within the TMT sectors
• Experience, knowledge and networks within the TMT sectors, with proven excellent interpersonal skills and networking ability to develop and nurture contacts
• Senior client stakeholder management and commercial management experience in complex transformation consulting engagements
• Strong report, proposal and article writing skills to communicate PwC viewpoints on breaking news and technical publications
• A track record of coaching and developing team members with an interest in helping to build a community
• An inspiring team leader, able to rapidly establish and lead high-performing, multi- disciplinary, cross geography teams, drawn from across PwC, our clients’ staff and third party organisations

Expertise In One Or More Of The Following Areas

• Strategic cost reduction, cost analysis, business case development, initiative development and delivery;
• Process discovery, analytics, excellence and optimisation techniques and technologies (e.g. robotic process automation, digital tooling, workflow, etc); Productivity analysis, team coaching and ways of working improvement.
• Procurement transformation: Third party cost reduction experience.
• Shared Service Centres / outsourcing strategy, implementation planning, execution and run
