Director, OSP Construction or Engineering

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Director, OSP Construction or Engineering – FIBER/OSP in the Poughkeepsie, NY market with some travel within the Hudson Valley.

The ideal candidates will have a background directing all aspects of OSP/Fiber construction or engineering projects to ensure schedules, budgets and contractual commitments are being met. You’ll provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to construction personnel and OSP vendors

This is an entrepreneurial new build environment that will allow you is create policies, procedures and solutions that make sense to expedite deployment.

Target compensation: $120-$140K DoE plus bonus incentive

Role:
Your primary responsibilities will include the following:
Creation of construction budgets, schedules, and project scope.

Propose and establish project specifications and requirements based on executive directives, business strategy, and OSHA regulations

Work with construction contractors, in-house Construction Managers, and Inspectors, to create and execute project work plans, schedules, and control budgets as well as identify and acquire resources.

Identify, negotiate, and onboard Construction Contractors and establish in-house crews and resources.

Oversee that the completed network meets quality and engineering standards.

Ensure standards are enforced through testing and implementation of new build of OSP Construction
