Dsp Engineer

We are seeking a DSP Engineer with excellent skills in the development of complex signal processing systems who is looking for a role which will see you involved in the development of cutting edge technology making a difference to people’s lives. The DSP Engineer will be involved in all stages of technology and product development including invention, analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing. The solutions will be implemented using a variety of platforms including embedded DSP, FPGA and smartphone apps.

Requirements of DSP Engineer

• BSc grade 2.i or above in Electronics, Communication systems or similar subject
• Recent and relevant experience developing complex Digital Processing Systems
• Skilled in DSP software / algorithms for physical layer processing or RF control
• Experience developing software in MATLAB or Python
• Bringing a system together as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• System-level knowledge of RF system architectures and performance metrics beneficial
• Previous experience working as DSP Engineer within telecommunications industry would be beneficial e.g (5G, LTE, GSM, 3G/HSPA), Broadcast (DVB-x) or Satcom.
• Real-time embedded software development using C/C++
