About this role

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to support our Desk Based Retention Sales teams (telesales) and In Life Service teams on the EE Mobile brand. Working closely with the Sales and Service teams to execute the Trading Strategy and Plan for the channel to deliver against their Retention and In Life volume and value targets, directly contributing to the SoHo P&L.

You’ll have the following responsibilities
  • Commercial Trading Lead into Desk Based Sales Teams for all EE Retention sales across, Inbound Retention, Outbound Retention and the Business Account Management (BAM) Teams
  • Commercial Trading Lead into all SoHo Service Teams for all EE In Life cross sell and upsell sales.
  • Contributes to achieving or exceeding the SoHo P&L objectives for EE, down to Trading EBITDA or Gross Margin
  • Contributes to achieving or exceeding the rolled up overall trading objectives for EE
  • Owns retention trading priorities & investment allocation to achieve budget volume & value for Desk Based Retention Sales Teams
  • Owns in life trading priorities & investment allocation to achieve budget volume & value for Service Teams
  • Owns retention and in life bi-annual budgeting & weekly, monthly forecasting in conjunction with Desk Based Retention Sales Teams and Service Teams
  • Accountable for identification of issues which could impact the sales or service channel, driving solutions for improvement through SoHo teams
  • Accountable for financial analysis providing additional interpretation of financial data to enable base growth through retention and in life sales
  • Responsible for weekly retention sales, in life sales and churn performance in sales and service channels
  • Responsible for the collaboration with Desk Based Retention Sales Teams, Service Teams, SoHo Marketing, Brand, Devices and Propositions to ensure alignment of commercials in the marketplace and efficient and effective ROI of marketing spend
  • Influence commission & reward structures and levels for retentions and in life sales
You’ll have the following skills & experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Initiative and analytical capability to identify issues and drive solutions to conclusion
  • Leadership skills, influencing stakeholders across LOB’s to ensure delivery of objectives
  • Presentations to senior board and large groups (internal & external)
  • It would be desirable if you have a professional qualification in either finance, marketing, or procurement
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue and profit growth initiative
  • Use Data Analytics – Uses complex data analysis to show underlying principles, process, or systems improvements
  • Be Agile – Uses collaborative or agile test and learn approaches, contributing to projects and programmes as a subject matter expert or content owner
  • Give Specialised Advice – Offers expert advice on subject expertise building rapport with stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Mobile Commercial or Sales experience
