PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Proficient at bending electrical conduit all sizes ½” to 4” EMT and GRC
-Understanding branch circuitry, lighting controls and low voltage systems.
-Experience in working with different voltages, 120v to 480v.
-Work under the supervision of a Foreman or Superintendent
-Implement SWECS safety practices
-Dailey lays out work and preps materials for installation.
-Understands NEC requirements, local codes.
-Performs underground layout and rough-in.
-Determines wire sizing
-Determines conduit sizing.
-Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders.
-Installs BUSS feeders.
-Installs and connects power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
-Troubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
-Operates any hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks.
-Understands and instructs assigned electrical apprentices in the safe operation of tools, use of equipment.
-Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
