Electronic Technician Specialist – 3rd Shift Operations Field Support

We are seeking a Full Time Telecommunications at Walt Disney World! In this role you will maintain and build solves for our communication systems. We use Avaya and Cisco. Additionally, solving issues and maintaining Wi-Fi and TIMELOX, including the associated devices and cabling.

The starting pay rate for this role is $24.40. THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT ROLE.

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience in a position of similar function and responsibility in a Nortel, Cisco and/or Avaya environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of CUCM, CUC, CER, CUCC. SIP protocol and Jabber
• Knowledge of Avaya Communication Manager, AAM, and AACC Systems experience preferred. SIP and H323 protocols
• Knowledge of Avaya System and Session Manager platforms
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network switches and related support applications.
• Understanding of Network Layer 1 and Layer 2 IP protocols
• Understand GPON network technology; Calix vendor preferred
• Knowledge on Nortel/Avaya CS1000, Contact Center, HMS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products, Office 365, Microsoft and Apple hardware and their supported OS
• Written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Education :

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Certification on Avaya or Cisco
