Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full Time Telecommunications at Walt Disney World! In this role you will maintain and build solves for our communication systems. We use Avaya and Cisco. Additionally, solving issues and maintaining Wi-Fi and TIMELOX, including the associated devices and cabling.

The starting pay rate for this role is $22.70

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for phones and associated devices including moves, installs, disconnects, and solves on Avaya CM, Cisco CUCM, Phoenix voice mail, Cisco Unity, and Avaya Aura Messaging
• Install, fix and maintain TIMELOX and Wi-Fi equipment
• Install, fix, and maintain CAT5, CAT6 station cable, and copper cable plant
• Tests, solves problems, and repairs equipment interconnection wiring and cabling
• Installs and removes cables and cabling infrastructure such as wire management systems, patch panels and jacks according to industry standards
• Understand and actively participate in Safety practices by following established Walt Disney World policies and procedures
• Supervise power plant equipment
• Regularly use a company vehicle

Basic Qualifications:

• Have a valid Florida state driver’s license
• Minimum of two (2) years hands-on experience required in a position of similar function and responsibility in a Cisco and/or Avaya environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to terminate and fix CAT5/CAT6 cabling
• Knowledge of GPON technology
• Basic knowledge of data network technology
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Consistent attendance is a job requirement
• Willing and able to work various shifts and overtime when required

Preferred Education

• Associate’s degree or equivalent
• Certification on Avaya or Cisco
