As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

Objectives

• To participate in system activities (system design, system sizing ….).
• To define and manage interfaces between Subsystems either within Alstom contract or with other contractors or partners

Responsibilities

• Produce the Customer Requirements Specification and the requirement capture file including the requirements allocation
• Participate to the definition of the System Architecture, to Railway system analysis and system sizing
• Participate to the railway system analyse through a MBSE approach
• Write sone system specification and make them approved by all the stakeholders.
• Participate to the request and change development
• Produce the competitive analysis and the technical risk analysis
• Produce relevant interface documents

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements,
• At least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 3 years in Railway projects
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
• Good coordination and communication
