Your working area & responsibilities

Wipro is looking for experienced E2E Test Specialist for Network Program for one of our Telecom clients in Germany:
  • End to End testing of Network Element, troubleshooting and problem reporting
  • Testing and operations of Telecom wireless/fixed network elements
  • Daily system health checkup, alarm monitoring, report generation and status reporting to the client
  • Co-ordination with vendor team while CD/patch installation and upgrades activities.
  • Regular interaction with the customer about operations, issues, risks, status updates and sending daily/weekly reports
  • Provide periodic reports to client Project Manager and stakeholders.


Your skillset
  • Understanding of the technology and life cycle of a 2G/3G/4G & IMS mobile network.
  • Hands on working experience and knowledge of Voice & Data Domain
    • key network elements/system: MSS, IMS, NNI-SBC, STP, SSR, iRPS
    • key services: Voice CS, CSFB, VoLTE, SRVCC
    • key protocols, interfaces: MAP over Sigtran/ SIP+SDP (Ic/Iz) / ENUM

Data domain:

  • key network elements/system: SGSN, MME, SGW, GGSN, PGW, DNS, DEA (for packet core, 2 vendors have to be considered)
    • key services: data over 2G/LTE
    • key protocols, interfaces: MAP, GTP, Diameter, S1, Gp/S8, Gr/S6a, S10, DNS
  • Work experience in end-to-end call flow testing. Protocol analysis, interface monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging
  • Working experience on test lab environment with RF box, attenuator, wireshark and HIT etc.
  • Hands on experience on Unix systems
  • Aware of 3GPP mobile network elements and interfaces in 2/3/4 G and IMS Networks
  • Cross-domains competences for more flexibility in the project (for instance: Voice + Messaging + Data + Mobility)
  • Good communication skills, proactive and a team player
  • English language skills in speaking and writing
  • Experience: Over 5+ Years


Qualifications
  • Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Overall around 5+ years of work experience, in Telecom Products, Services, and working with Telco Business and Network Elements. Understanding of testing life cycle and software delivery process models (waterfall and agile)
  • Knowledge about Telecom domain with deep know-how about Cross-domains competences for more flexibility in the project (for instance: Voice + Messaging + Data + Mobility)
