Offer Description
The Associação RAEGE Açores – Rede Atlântica de Estações Geodinâmicas e Espaciais (RAEGE-Az) has an open position for fixed-term employment contract for a Senior Technician in Electronics and Telecommunications in the areas of Development, Operation and Maintenance.
The vaccancy is open for one year, automatically renewed for another. Some additional benefits also exist, including attractive salary dependent upon the CV of the applicant. At the end of the two years, there is a possibility for a permanent position.
Our team is young and dynamic, working at the fundamental geodesics station of Santa Maria, Azores. The main goals of the station concerns the operation and maintenance of scientific equipments including the VLBI radiotelescope, the GNSS receiver, the superconduction gravimetre, among others, as well as to conduct research, technology development and transfer, and outreach.
