NMCI is an antenna & line contracting company providing services within the telecommunications sector since 1980. Our team currently specializes in the installation, maintenance, and modification of cellular base station antenna systems on towers and other structures. We are currently recruiting new tower technicians. Individuals need not have any prior experience in the industry, as training and certification will be provided after signing on.

Tower technicians can expect to spend approximately two thirds of their time climbing and working at height on cell towers and other structures. Remaining time will be spent traveling to and from construction sites, loading and unloading materials, and preparing communications equipment for deployment. Technicians will work together on crews, functioning cohesively under the leadership of a foremen.
As a member of the team, you will receive training/certification in the following areas:
-OSHA 10
-Climbing, Rescue, Rigging, Tower Safety
-First Aid / CPR & Blood Borne Pathogens
-Radio Frequency (RF) Safety Training
As an entry level tower technician you will be responsible for several duties:
-Heavy lifting & other manual labor
-Driving to and from job sites
-Use and maintenance of basic hand and power tools
-General construction tasks
-Climbing and working on towers/structures
-Maintenance of climbing harness and PPE
-Installation of cellular infrastructure (antennas, radios, etc.)
-Connectorization and installation of RF cabling
-Maintaining a clean vehicle and job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day
-Complete work in a timely and efficient manner according to safety procedures
We require that you meet the following specifications:
-Possesses a valid driver’s license
-Is comfortable with driving vans & pickup trucks
-Will drive local, statewide, or interstate when required
-Is comfortable with overnight stays (hotel) when required
-Is comfortable with heights (ascending >150’)
-High attention to detail
-Has body strength to ascend/descend structures multiple times in a day
-Is capable of lifting >70lbs
-Will work outdoors year-round with exposure to elements
-Will commonly work over 40 hours a week, and work weekends when required
-Prioritizes safety
-Possesses a team player mentality
-Shows enthusiasm for learning new skills
-Holds punctuality in high regard
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
