The Impact this role will have
The Estimating Superintendent must be an excellent communicator, analytical, and creative by always coming up with new ways to satisfy needs and encourage colleagues. Will provide on-site coordination of all pre-construction phases to include site walks, quotes/bids, creating MOPS and BOM while determining LOE and budgets. Will help design and enforce quality controls to maintain company standards. What your day will be like
Assist in implementing a comprehensive Quality Management System following industry best practices.
Provide management oversight and audits of subcontractors and suppliers to determine compliance with appropriate standards, regulations, and best practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of a problem reporting and waiver system tailored to the needs of the customer/project.
Work cross functionally with construction management and project management professionals to develop and implement independent certified inspection procedures for tower/civil construction crews. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier QA and manufacturing plans during selection processes.
Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products and recurring field processes.
Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure products meet required specifications for quality,
function, and reliability prior to delivery.
Communicate quality standards and parameters to market leadership teams, and other appropriate staff.
Review client, customer, and user feedback.
Train, motivate, coach, and correct employees to ensure standards are met.
Create and generate reports to track progress.
Formulate new strategies to increase productivity.
Review processes to ensure they align with current trends.
The specialized skills, experience, and education you will share with Betacom
Associate degree (A. A.), or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, or higher; or 3 years of progressive job experience in the above job duties/skills specifically related to quality; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ComTrain, Osha30, RF Awareness Training, First Aid/CPR trained
Experience with Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, tower mapping and antenna equipment.
Experience stacking self-support towers, installing waveguide, antennas, and MW dishes.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Confidence to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Strong Mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. As well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Demonstrated expertise in managing the processes for wireless site construction professionals through prior experience.
Advanced computer skills and knowledge with Microsoft Office to include (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as project management software.
Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license required.
