Now Hiring Senior Estimator – Construction Industry

Prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. Your will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. The goal is to provide detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth. Must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons.

Job Description:

• Attend Pre-bids
• Procure plans and specifications, Jobsite visits
• Prepare accurate estimates for the following: Dirt work (using Agtek)Earthwork clearing, cuts & fills Street subgrade prep, base and asphalt
• Concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk etc. Storm pipe and structures,
• Wastewater pipe and manholes Water pipe and materials
• Water quality ponds
• Dry utilities electric, gas, and telecommunications
• Lift stations and force mains Erosion controls
• Plan checks Project buyout Process change orders.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:

5-10 years of estimating experience in the construction industry

BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent discipline

Must be Proficient in Excel

• CAD/AGTEK/Bluebeam software experience strongly preferred
• Moderate to strong math core
• Excellent time management & prioritizing skills
• Ability to handle high stress when market is high Self-driven desire for personal growth and development
• Team player, able to work in a group setting
• Good oral and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year

• Construction estimating: 2 years (Required)
• Commercial construction: 2 years (Required)
• Bluebeam: 1 year (Required)
