Responsibilities:
Here is a preview of your day-to-day:
- Visit various construction sites to collect data;
- Evaluate mandates;
- Read and interpret tenders and specifications;
- Prepare rigorously bids;
- Respect deadlines and follow the schedule;
- Collaborate with the various key players in the implementation of the work;
- Follow the addendums applicable to the different projects;
- Request quotes from various suppliers and subcontractors;
- Identify risk items and/or opportunities and relay information to the construction team;
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications:
A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project estimating;
- Ability to read plans and specifications;
- Demonstrate versatility and an analytical mind;
- Excellent ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Good knowledge of wireless telecommunications;
- Familiarity with wireless telecom technology (asset);
- Familiarity with construction sites (asset). #IND1
